Job Description
As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience across multiple departments within a leading organization in logistics, operations, and business services. Interns will work on real projects that contribute to department goals, receive mentorship from professionals in their field, and gain exposure to cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support departmental teams with daily operations and project-based assignments.
- Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare reports or presentations as needed.
- Assist in internal communications, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
- Participate in team meetings, site visits, and cross-departmental shadowing opportunities.
- Learn about company systems, policies, and industry standards relevant to your assigned area.
- Demonstrate initiative, professionalism, and a willingness to contribute to team success.
- Follow up with sales team regarding the status of opportunities.
- Recap wins and share key insights.
- Monitor Intermodal and MedLog emails for relevant opportunities.
- Undertake various project tasks including but not limited to quarterly tariff reviews, enhancing non-manual communication between MedLog and MSC, evaluating competitiveness of chassis programs, compiling missed opportunities, and making improvements to PowerBI.
Work Schedule
This role requires working on-site in the office for four days a week, from Monday to Thursday. There is no option for fully remote or hybrid work in this role, unless required off-site duties are being performed.
Skills and Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Logistics, HR, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt quickly, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools.
- Willingness to learn and engage with diverse teams and work environments.
