About the role

About Chesterton Hills Consulting

Chesterton Hills Consulting is a Dallas based full service growth advisory firm advising startups, growth companies, and established organizations on strategy, operations, commercialization, and implementation. We work with leadership teams from planning through execution and remain involved as initiatives are put into practice. Over time, something interesting happened. Clients did not just want help solving problems. They wanted help moving faster once the solution was clear. Often, that meant capital. Not just someone to run a process for them, but someone who understood how to position the business and, more importantly, who to speak with. In response, the firm began supporting fundraising strategy and maintaining a network of investors. We help clients prepare for investor conversations and facilitate introductions to venture capital firms, private equity groups, family offices, and strategic investors. We do not raise capital on behalf of clients, act as an intermediary in transactions, or participate in negotiations. Our role is advisory and connective. We help ensure the right conversations happen between the right people.

About the Role

You will work directly with firm leadership to support investor relationship development and fundraising strategy initiatives for client companies. The role sits at the intersection of consulting, venture, and partnerships. You will help identify aligned investors, prepare for conversations, coordinate introductions, and maintain relationships across our network. This is not a sales role and not a high volume outreach position. The work is relationship driven. Success is defined by the quality of the relationships built and the strength of the connections created, not by the number of emails sent. The aim is to build a network that actually works. A smaller group of investors who trust the firm, take meetings, and engage thoughtfully is far more valuable than a long list of names that never respond. In practice, that means focusing on fit, credibility, and consistency rather than volume. It is also important to be clear about the boundary of the role. You are not raising capital or negotiating deals. You are helping ensure the right introductions happen and that both sides enter those conversations prepared. What follows is up to them. This is a high-trust position. You will be communicating with investors, founders, and partners on behalf of the firm. That requires sound judgment, responsiveness, and a steady level of professionalism. The role rewards people who are thoughtful in how they communicate and consistent in how they follow through. Credibility builds quietly, and it compounds.

Candidates must currently reside in the United States. Only applicants located in this area will be considered. Applications from other locations will not be reviewed or considered.

Candidates should be proactive, responsive, and comfortable taking ownership of their work. Many of the most relevant investors are not immediately visible and do not advertise what they are doing.
