TMB has an exciting opportunity as an Information Technology (IT)/Cyber Security Intern to prepare you to become part of a highly skilled workforce to create a career pathway in the U.S. Navy IT/Cyber Security competency. Our Internship Program offers a training strategy that prepares individuals with skills to compete in today's economy.

Program Overview

During the 9–12 week Internship, Interns follow a training curriculum and are assigned with an IT, Cyber Security, and Security Competency Lead for three rotations within the Information Management & Security (IM&S) Directorate in Team Ships. The Competency Lead will be instrumental in providing their firsthand knowledge and experience, give hands on training and experience of what IM&S Analysts do for the Navy, and act as a sounding board relating to career goals and development in becoming an IT/Cyber Security Analyst.

Program Structure

The internship is two parts: The primary goal of the Internship program is to provide a comprehensive and hands-on learning experience for the intern by exposing them to various facets of the Team Ships organization's IT, Cybersecurity, and Security functions as it pertains to how the Navy and DoD does business
