Overview

The Intern Pool in the Lansing offices of Michigan State Representatives for the Fall Semester 2026 is a paid internship position that provides hands-on experience in office and legislative work.

Key Accountabilities

  • Assist with general operations
  • Support constituent relations
  • Assist with communications
  • Monitor legislation to support the Member and staff

Work Schedule

Paid intern work schedules are flexible but generally take place Tuesdays–Thursdays when the House is in session, with some travel to the district required.
