Overview
DentalEZ, Inc., is a growing manufacturer of dental equipment hiring in Lancaster, PA. We are looking for outgoing and motivated individuals to join our team. We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our team. You will work under the supervision of senior engineers, gaining hands-on experience in production processes, quality control, and process improvement projects. This position provides an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world production challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Improvement: Assist in identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency, reducing waste, and optimizing workflows (Lean Manufacturing, 5S).
- Documentation: Create, update, and maintain work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and technical drawings.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze production data to support projects related to quality, cost reduction, or manufacturing improvements.
- Troubleshooting: Participate in identifying root causes for production issues and support equipment maintenance/troubleshooting.
- Project Support: Assist with tooling design, equipment installation, and testing new processes.
