About the role

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Process Development: Design workflow layouts and production lines
  • Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving equipment or process issues to minimize downtime and scrap
  • Perform Process Audits: Design of experiments and time studies
  • Utilize lean manufacturing processes to reduce scrap and increase productivity
  • Conduct material and mold trails
  • Serve as the primary leader for cross-functional project teams
  • Ensure all project deliveries meet quality, cost, and timing expectations
  • Collaborate with cross functioning teams on mold designs and secondary fixture designs
  • Resolve potential hazards to mitigate injuries in the production process
  • Utilize external resources to support designs concepts, prototyping, and customer solutions
  • Ensure that all related process documentation is correct and complete
  • Effectively communicate with all team members to streamline processes
  • Engineering 3-D CAD models, STP files, all insulators (heights and insert selections & configurations)

Required Education & Experience

  • Working on Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
  • Ability to balance customers, manufacturing, business, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts including probability, statistics, and geometry
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and consistent decision-making skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office
