About the role
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Process Development: Design workflow layouts and production lines
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving equipment or process issues to minimize downtime and scrap
- Perform Process Audits: Design of experiments and time studies
- Utilize lean manufacturing processes to reduce scrap and increase productivity
- Conduct material and mold trails
- Serve as the primary leader for cross-functional project teams
- Ensure all project deliveries meet quality, cost, and timing expectations
- Collaborate with cross functioning teams on mold designs and secondary fixture designs
- Resolve potential hazards to mitigate injuries in the production process
- Utilize external resources to support designs concepts, prototyping, and customer solutions
- Ensure that all related process documentation is correct and complete
- Effectively communicate with all team members to streamline processes
- Engineering 3-D CAD models, STP files, all insulators (heights and insert selections & configurations)
Required Education & Experience
- Working on Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to balance customers, manufacturing, business, and regulatory requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts including probability, statistics, and geometry
- Demonstrate sound judgment and consistent decision-making skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office
