About the role
Summary
LUCAS Coatings is seeking a motivated Market Research Intern to support the development of a new roofing lead generation program. This role will help build standardized local market reports that identify candidate commercial roofs for contractor outreach using public property data, permit data, aerial imagery, and structured manual review. This internship is ideal for a college student looking to gain hands-on experience in sales operations, market intelligence, data organization, and AI-assisted workflow development in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The intern will work closely with the sales team to create shareable prospecting tools that support engagement between our sales representatives and roofing contractors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Internship, project, or coursework experience in marketing, business, analytics, GIS, construction, or a related field preferred
Education/Experience
Reasoning Ability
Computer Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; strong Excel skills required. Familiarity with GIS/mapping tools, HTML, data cleanup, or CRM systems is a plus.
