Marketing and Social Media

Support and optimize our marketing content and social media strategy to increase followership and improve engagement. Candidates should be self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have experience with communication and writing, image creation in Canva and Photoshop, and social media analytics and research.

Projects will include:

• Managing the digital content calendar and social media analytics
• Creating and distributing content (campaigns, event descriptions, newsletters, blogs, infographics, videos, and press releases) on social media and traditional news outlets
• Analyzing social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability

Program Details

• Location: New York City (remote and in-person opportunities may be available)
• Schedule: Year-round openings

• Eligibility: College juniors/seniors, recent graduates, and career changers

Program Eligibility and Requirements (United States)

• College undergraduate (18 years of age or older), recent graduate with a career interest in non-profit arts management, or individual considering a career change into the non-profit arena.
• U.S. Student Internships are for a minimum of 4 months (20 to 40 hours weekly).
• All full-time intern applicants are expected to work a flexible schedule that will include Saturdays. Interns work five days per week with two days off. The two days off may vary from week to week based on ATW's weekly schedule.
• All full-time intern applicants are expected to intern 40+ hours per week including days, evenings or a combination of both. As an active theatre, ATW's hours of operation are from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM and sometimes later in order to accommodate productions and events.

Our internship program is designed to facilitate students receiving course credit for participation in the program.
