Highland Pines Committee, Inc ( https://www.unhousedtampa.org/ ) is seeking a dynamic and energetic professional to lead our organization's Marketing efforts in cultivating, securing, and managing support from donors, foundations, corporations, and community partners. This role is vital in developing innovative fundraising strategies, building strong relationships, and expanding our impact through targeted campaigns and events. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for nonprofit management, exceptional communication skills, and a strategic mindset to drive sustainable growth. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission by maximizing donor engagement and ensuring the successful execution of marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals to increase revenue streams from major gifts, grants, planned giving, and events.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events that engage donors and raise awareness about the organization's mission.
  • Manage donor relations through personalized outreach, stewardship activities, and regular communication via email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp and Constant Contact.
  • Write compelling grant proposals and funding applications to secure grants from government agencies, foundations, and corporate sponsors.
  • Utilize CRM software like Salesforce and Raiser's Edge to maintain accurate donor records, track giving history, and analyze fundraising data for strategic planning.
  • Cultivate relationships with major donors and alumni through targeted outreach, personalized proposals, and stewardship activities to encourage ongoing support.
  • Oversee digital marketing campaigns across social media platforms and WordPress websites to enhance visibility and engagement with potential supporters.
  • Conduct research on prospective donors, foundation priorities, and industry trends to identify new funding opportunities.
  • Coordinate volunteer management efforts for fundraising events and campaigns to maximize community involvement.
  • Prepare budgets for fundraising activities, monitor expenses, and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on marketing initiatives that promote fundraising campaigns through email marketing, social media management, and public relations efforts.

Experience

  • Proven experience in nonprofit fundraising or development roles with a track record of successful major gift solicitation and grant writing.
  • Strong background in event planning, database management (including experience with Salesforce or Raiser's Edge), and CRM software utilization.
  • Excellent proposal writing skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans that align with organizational objectives while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in digital marketing tools such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact for email campaigns; familiarity with social media management platforms is preferred.
  • Knowledge of nonprofit industry grant writing standards as well as estate planning concepts like wills, trusts & estate law is advantageous.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels including volunteers, board members, donors, and community partners.
  • Strong negotiation skills combined with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
