Position Overview
The Marketing Intern will support marketing efforts across Nvak Collective's label, management, and artist services divisions. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone interested in learning the ins and outs of artist development and music marketing in the 2026 music industry. The intern will gain practical experience supporting artist campaigns across social media strategy, content development, creative research, campaign reporting, audience growth, and release marketing. The Marketing Intern will work directly with Nvak's Director of Operations and collaborate with members of the marketing, project management, A&R, and creative teams.
Successful interns may be evaluated for future paid part-time or full-time opportunities at Nvak Collective based on performance, demonstrated growth, company needs, and role availability. Participation in the internship does not guarantee future employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Marketing: Researching relevant social media trends, content references, visual inspiration, and campaign concepts for Nvak artists. Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on social media and campaign performance. Assisting with social media posting, scheduling, community management, and artist account organization. Ensure approved content is posted accurately and according to campaign timelines.
- Creative Direction: Reviewing photographers, videographers, designers, stylists, editors, and other creative collaborators for artist shoots and campaigns. Evaluating creative references and collaborators to ensure alignment with each artist's brand, positioning, and campaign goals. Assist with developing one-sheets, EPKs, brand guides, mood boards, shoot references, and creative briefs.
- Release Marketing: Join and contribute to brainstorming sessions for artist positioning, audience development, content strategy, and campaign concepts. Supporting the planning, organization, and execution of artist marketing and release campaigns. Supporting the coordination of marketing assets, timelines, deliverables, and campaign next steps.
Qualifications
- Current university student seeking academic credit, or an individual interested in completing the position on a volunteer basis.
- Strong interest in music marketing, artist development, social media, digital culture, and the evolving music industry.
- Familiarity with platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Spotify, and other relevant digital platforms.
- Strong written communication, research, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple artists, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Able to receive feedback, follow instructions, and complete assignments accurately and on time.
- Proactive, resourceful, curious, and willing to learn.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while communicating consistently with the team.
- Experience with Canva, Google Workspace, social media scheduling platforms, or project-management tools is a plus.

Internship Expectations
- Commit to approximately 20 hours per week.
- Maintain a consistent weekly schedule agreed upon with the Director of Operations.
- Attend required virtual meetings and communicate promptly during scheduled working hours.
- Complete assignments accurately and within agreed-upon deadlines.
- Track working hours and completed responsibilities as required by Nvak or the intern's university.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding unreleased music, artist accounts, internal strategy, company operations, and client information.
