About Us
Society Sobriety is proving you don't need alcohol to have an incredible social life. We throw rooftop workouts, immersive dance parties, dating events, wellness experiences, and other unique events that bring people together in NYC. We're a fast-growing startup, which means no two days look the same. One day you'll be organizing sponsor deliveries, the next you'll be helping run an event with hundreds of attendees. If that sounds exciting instead of stressful, keep reading.
What You'll Do
- Help bring our events from idea to reality.
- Coordinate vendors, DJs, photographers, sponsors, and venues.
- Set up events (yes, sometimes that means moving tables or carrying boxes—we promise it's a workout).
- Welcome attendees and make sure everyone has an amazing experience.
- Keep event timelines on track and solve last-minute problems without panicking.
- Organize supplies so we aren't asking, "Has anyone seen the name tags?" five minutes before doors open.
- Support sponsor activations and make sure our partners look great.
- Jump into whatever needs to get done—because startup life is all about wearing different hats.
You're Probably a Great Fit If You…
- Love being busy and staying organized.
- Can think on your feet when plans change.
- Have a positive attitude and don't mind getting your hands dirty.
- Are outgoing, dependable, and enjoy meeting new people.
- Have a good sense of humor and don't take yourself too seriously.
- Want real responsibility—not just making coffee.

- Have planned events or been involved in clubs or Greek life.
- Have worked in hospitality, retail, or customer service.
- Know your way around Canva, Google Drive, or social media.
