About the role
The Organizational Excellence Associate Intern supports the Organizational Excellence team with people development programs for Power Generation Services. This role focuses on training coordination, learning material development, program administration, and data reporting. You will work closely with team members to support employee development and improve the delivery of training programs.
What you'll do
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, workshops, and meetings, including scheduling and equipment setup.
- Maintain training records in Microsoft PowerApps and support the creation of Power BI dashboards.
- Update Organizational Excellence SharePoint pages to ensure resources remain current.
- Create and update training materials, such as participant guides, job aids, presentations, and multimedia content.
- Assist with training evaluations and suggest improvements based on program data and participant feedback.
- Manage correspondence and protect confidential employee information.
What you'll need
- Current enrollment in a college or university program in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, specifically PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business materials, technical procedures, and program documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic analytical skills, including the ability to work with percentages, ratios, survey results, and training data.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teammates or independently with guidance.
- Ability to travel locally to Orlando training sites up to 5% of the time and lift up to 20 pounds of materials.
