Carnegie Mellon University’s department of  Athletics is searching for a Part-Time Goalkeeper Coach for their Women’s Soccer team.  This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. A national research university, Carnegie Mellon is a member of the NCAA Division III intercollegiate sports program.

This position is part-time from **August - November 30 2026, then March 1 - April 30, 2027**

*Core responsibilities include:*

  • Demonstrating competency in sport skill instruction, motivation and ability to work under the direction of the head coach
  • Recruit potential student athletes under the direction of the head coach via phone, email, or personal contact
  • Demonstrate sincere interest in personal, academic and athletic progress of student-athletes Exhibit supportive and cooperative behavior pursuing sport programs goals as set by the head coach
  • Leadership and professional behavior with dealing with student-athletes
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1+ years athletic coaching experience required

A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check
  • *Child Protection Clearances (Act 153)*
  • *OSHA on the job Hazardous Materials Safety Training*
