PhD Research Intern, Computer Vision & Deep Learning - Summer 2024

NVIDIA is searching for several computer vision and deep learning interns to join the learning and perception research team for an internship. We are passionate about research that pushes boundaries but also has impact in the real world. You will work within an amazing and collaborative research team that has a long history of publishing the results of internship projects at top venues in computer vision and machine learning.

We have many experienced mentors in the team and our interns often choose to return for another internship. We carefully craft internship projects such that they match the interns' expertise. What you'll be doing: Research, design and implement novel computer vision and machine learning methods.

Work collaboratively with your mentor. Work with product groups to transfer technology. What we need to see: Must be pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc., or have equivalent research experience.

Excellent knowledge of theory and practice of computer vision methods, as well as deep learning. Excellent programming skills in some rapid prototyping environment such as Python; C++ and parallel programming (e.g., CUDA) is a plus. Knowledge of common machine learning frameworks, such as PyTorch.
