Overview
We are seeking highly skilled and design-focused Product Design Interns to join the design team of a New York City-based art and design firm. This internship is intended specifically for candidates with strong experience in digital artwork, product visualization, 3D rendering, and creative design production. This is not a graphic design, branding, marketing, architecture, or interior design internship. We are seeking candidates with a strong artistic and technical design background focused on digital art, 3D modeling, rendering, and visual concept development.

Responsibilities
- Create and develop high-quality digital artwork and visual concepts
- Produce 3D renderings, models, and visual presentations for creative projects
- Assist with product and experiential design development
- Collaborate closely with the design team on artistic and conceptual initiatives
- Support creative ideation, visualization, and presentation workflows
- Prepare polished visual assets for internal and client-facing use
- Contribute to ongoing design and artistic production projects
- Maintain organized project files and design documentation
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, 3D Design, Digital Arts, Fine Arts, Visualization, Entertainment Design, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Photoshop and 3D rendering/modeling software
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing digital artwork, 3D visualization, or product/concept design work
- Strong artistic and technical design abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced creative environment
- Strong understanding of digital design workflows and visual storytelling
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 12 months of prior experience in digital design, 3D modeling, rendering, or related creative work
- Experience with software such as Blender, Rhino, Cinema 4D, Maya, 3ds Max, Sketch Up, Key Shot, or similar tools
- Background in product visualization, experiential design, or artistic concept development
- Strong portfolio demonstrating advanced rendering and digital art capabilities
- Long-term interest in art, design production, and immersive creative work
Important Note
This role is intended specifically for seasoned design-focused candidates with strong digital art and 3D modeling capabilities. Candidates focused primarily on graphic design, branding, social media marketing, architecture, or interior design may not be the best fit for this opportunity. A portfolio showcasing relevant digital artwork and rendering work is strongly preferred.
