Public Relations Development Intern

Internship Summary

This position involves supporting the C+FS PR and Development team on Public Relations projects.

Major Responsibilities/Activities

Writing: - Press Releases - Media Advisories - Articles for C+FS website - Articles for C+FS Intranet

Graphic Design: - Flyers - Banners - Brochures

Social Media Communications: - Internal and external messaging - Pitching story ideas for the media

Development: - Assist Development Team with donor prospecting - Utilize Fundraising Software, Raiser's Edge to help manage donor portfolios - Help accept donations in support of the Development team receiving in-kind gifts to help facilitate building donor relationships - Assist the Development team with event organization, meeting preparation and donation drives as needed.

Education Requirements

• In an undergraduate or graduate program with a focus in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing.
• Enrollment in a credit bearing program.

Schedule

Flexible scheduling but must be able to work at the office location during work hours. This is an unpaid internship for college credit.
