About the Real Estate Internship
Imperium Capital is hiring a Real Estate Investment Intern (paid) to join the team on a part-time or full-time basis. As a real estate intern, you will work directly with Sam Schneider on inbound real estate investment opportunities and on the existing real estate portfolio, gaining hands-on exposure to how institutional-quality deals are sourced, screened, and closed. You will also work on Sam's podcast, The Inside Deal, coordinating with high-profile real estate and investment professionals, booking guests, preparing research briefs, and supporting production. Few real estate internships put you in the room with principals, brokers, and operators this early. This real estate investment internship is best suited to a current undergraduate or recent graduate in finance, real estate, economics, business, or a related field who wants to jumpstart a career in real estate investment.
What You'll Do as a Real Estate Investment Intern
- Coordinate guest booking, research, and production for The Inside Deal podcast
- Prepare briefing documents on high-profile real estate investors, developers, and brokers ahead of interviews
- Work alongside a team of senior marketing professionals on distribution and content strategy
- Support underwriting and screening of inbound real estate investment opportunities
- Assist with asset management and reporting across the existing real estate portfolio
- Build and maintain market comps, deal trackers, and investor-facing materials
- Research luxury real estate, commercial real estate, data center, and alternative asset transactions
Your Qualifications
- Currently an undergraduate, or hold a degree, in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related program
- Genuine interest in real estate investing, capital markets, and deal structuring
- Comfortable building and working in Excel or Google Sheets (financial modeling ability is a plus)
- Strong written and verbal communication, and confidence corresponding with senior professionals
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage several workstreams at once
- Interest in podcasting, content, or media is a plus
- Familiarity with CRM tools, AI tools, and workflow automation is a plus

- Prior internship or coursework in commercial real estate, private equity, investment banking, or brokerage
- Experience with real estate data platforms (CoStar, Crexi, Yardi, Argus, or similar)
- Basic video, audio, or social editing skills
