Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and creative Music Production Intern to create and develop stem tracks for our various media projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring music producer to gain hands-on experience in the industry while contributing to high-quality productions. This position is remote, and exceptional performance could lead to a paid role within Gray Music & Media Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and produce high-quality stem tracks (individual instrumental and vocal components) for original compositions, covers, and production needs.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure the music aligns with the artistic vision and overall brand identity.
- Arrange and mix individual track elements to create stems suitable for post-production use.
- Ensure consistency in audio quality, levels, and sound design for various types of content.
- Collaborate on music projects, including film scoring, media content, and commercial productions.
- Deliver stems in multiple formats, ensuring compatibility with different production environments.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in music production software (DAWs such as Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, or FL Studio).
- Experience in multi-track recording, arranging, and mixing.
- Knowledge of audio engineering principles (EQ, compression, reverb, etc.).
- Ability to create original compositions in various genres, aligning with production needs.
- Understanding of music theory, instrumentation, and arrangement.
- Excellent time management and communication skills to work remotely and meet deadlines.
- Passion for music production and a desire to grow within the industry.
Preferred (But Not Required) Skills
- Experience with film scoring and sync licensing.
- Familiarity with sampling, MIDI programming, and sound design.
Additional Details
This is a remote internship with flexible hours, but deadlines must be met. The role starts as an unpaid internship with the possibility of transitioning into a paid position based on performance and company needs.
