About the role
Position Purpose
To support faculty-led research activities through a supervised, temporary research internship.
Job Duties
- Assist with research experiments and data collection
- Implement and test software prototypes
- Analyze experimental results and document findings
- Support preparation of technical reports and research artifacts
- Collaborate closely with the faculty supervisor on assigned research tasks
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related field
- Background in programming and software development
- Familiarity with Linux-based systems and basic software engineering concepts
- Ability to work independently under faculty supervision and document technical work
Desired Qualifications
- Coursework or hands‑on experience in distributed systems, cloud computing, or data processing
- Experience with Python and modern development frameworks
- Exposure to machine learning, MLOps, or research‑oriented software projects
- Prior internship, academic research project, or relevant technical experience is a plus
