About the role
Overview
Our research center is seeking a detailed focused undergraduate intern to support essential operations. This hands-on role is vital to maintaining laboratory infrastructure and ensuring safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform liquid nitrogen tank checks, filling, and swaps
- Conduct equipment maintenance like defrosting freezers and managing cold rooms
- Handle daily laboratory supply needs by managing dishwashing facility runs, autoclaving, and filling pipet tips
- Test eye wash stations and monitor biohazard bins
- Coordinate lab coat cleaning and replenish water for all labs
Required Qualifications
- Enrollment in High School or an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate program, preferred
- Interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills to interact efficiently with various audiences
