Northwest Montana experiences significant seasonal changes in patient volume throughout the year, driven by tourism, outdoor recreation, community events, and an influx of visitors to the region. We are seeking experienced Medical-Surgical nurses to join our Acute Care Unit for a 13-week seasonal assignment and help care for our community during periods of increased demand. At Logan Health, seasonal RNs are not viewed as temporary help—they are fully integrated members of the Acute Care Unit team. From day one, you will work alongside experienced nurses, providers, therapists, case managers, and support staff to deliver exceptional care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions. You'll play a vital role in supporting patients through acute illness, treatment, recovery, and discharge while collaborating within a highly engaged interdisciplinary care team.

- 36 hours per week (3x12-hour shifts)
- 15% seasonal premium pay
- $1,000 bonus after 30 days
- $1,000 bonus after 60 days
- $2,000 completion bonus
What We're Looking For
- Current Montana RN license or compact license eligibility
- 2+ years of Med/Surg experience
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and prioritization skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

- Hiking, biking, or enjoying scenic drives before winter settles in
- Exploring Glacier National Park and the Flathead Valley in the quieter months
- Enjoying the holiday season and Montana's small-town traditions
- Getting outside for your first winter adventures as snow arrives
❄️ November 2 – January 30 | Holiday Magic & Mountain Winter
Spend the holidays in Northwest Montana and settle into the peaceful rhythm of winter in the Flathead Valley.
When you're not caring for patients, you might be:
- Enjoying holiday markets, lights, concerts, and community celebrations
- Skiing or snowboarding at Whitefish Mountain Resort
- Snowshoeing or cross-country skiing through snowy mountain landscapes
- Exploring Whitefish, Kalispell, and nearby mountain communities
- Enjoying a slower winter pace with local coffee shops, restaurants, live music, and cozy evenings

- Snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or exploring snowy trails

- Taking scenic drives and enjoying the slower pace of winter in Northwest Montana

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
