Rose Parade Field Producer - Seasonal

KTLA is looking for a skilled Field Segment Producer to work on our Emmy Award winning live Rose Parade coverage. This job requires skills in live segment producing, execution and field production logistics for our New Year’s Day celebration. Producer with a can-do attitude will work directly with Executive and Show Producers on show day to execute live segment elements.

Responsibilities

• Execute live segments for our Emmy Award winning Rose Parade coverage.
• Work directly with crew, talent, and interviewees on location in Pasadena.
• Coordinate onsite interviews, working directly with crew and talent in the field.
• Work with Executive Producers and Producers on segment pitches and logistics.
• Position is temporary for live event – December – January.

Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience in live production, scripted or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in film, communications, marketing, management, or related field
• Capable of meeting tight deadlines and working with time constraints
• Must be a self-starter, able to excel independently
• Ability to multitask with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment
• Professional judgment for handling confidential information
• Excellent written and verbal communications.

Compensation $25/hr.+ - commensurate with experience and skill level
