Summary Interns will receive supportive training and supervision from experienced school psychologists while obtaining school-based experiences with the following: All steps in the special education eligibility process including assessment, report writing, interpreting assessment data at meetings, and completing IEP paperwork All phases of MTSS and PBIS from Tier 2 on including progress monitoring, multi-disciplinary consultation, problem-solving, and academic, SEL, and behavioral interventions Additionally, Interns will attend district-wide professional development on a variety of topics to help reach our district's mission of educating each student to achieve personal excellence. Interns will benefit from participating in a learning community actively engaged in diversity, equity, and inclusion work.
Qualifications
Completion of School Psychology Specialist program coursework and any university specific requirements for an internship during the school year
