Overview

The intern will participate in weekly check‑ins with the Zibra marketing team, either virtually or in person. Reliable transportation is required. The intern must be available to travel to occasional local events, content shoots, retail locations, and creator locations throughout the Charleston area. Local travel will be scheduled in advance whenever possible.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with social media content creation, scheduling, and management across multiple platforms
  • Help create short‑form videos, photos, captions, graphics, and other digital content
  • Research social media trends, emerging platforms, audience behaviors, and content opportunities
  • Identify potential creators, brand partners, communities, and new audiences
  • Support influencer marketing, public relations, and community outreach initiatives
  • Help brainstorm and execute marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand‑awareness initiatives
  • Assist with podcast promotion, content planning, and audience‑growth efforts
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, retail opportunities, and customer segments
  • Engage with creators, artists, painters, DIYers, and other members of the Zibra community
  • Participate in local content shoots, events, retail visits, and brand activations as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Digital Media, or a related field
  • Strong interest in social media, marketing, content creation, and brand building
  • Familiarity with Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, and You Tube
  • Basic experience using Canva
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • A self‑starter who takes initiative and is eager to learn
  • A creative thinker who enjoys brainstorming and problem‑solving
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
  • A positive, dependable, and professional attitude
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel within the Charleston area as needed
