VARY is an innovative, fast-paced brand dedicated to bringing people together through unique food and lifestyle experiences. We are looking for a creative, highly proactive Social Media & Event Operations Intern for the Fall semester.
Role Overview
- Duration: 3 Months (Fall Semester, open to extension)
- Type: Part-time / Unpaid (real-world portfolio building guaranteed)
- Time Commitment: ~20 hours/week (Includes 1 weekly meeting + 1–2 offline events/month)
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation (Graphic & Short Video): Script, film, and edit engaging short videos (Reels/TikTok) and design visually appealing social media posts.
- Offline Event Support: Provide hands-on assistance for 1–2 local offline events per month (pre-event prep, live content capture, and logistics).
- Weekly Sync & Alignment: Attend a mandatory 20-minute weekly team meeting, review team recaps independently, and execute assigned action items.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Junior, Senior, or Graduate student majoring in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related fields.
- Growth Mindset: Ability to take constructive feedback objectively and adapt quickly without taking things personally.
- Reliability & Time Management: Respect agreed-upon deadlines and scheduled team meetings. Personal appointments must be scheduled around mandatory recurring meetings.
- Independent & Resourceful: Self-driven learner who reads meeting summaries/notes before asking redundant questions.
- Proactive Communication: High responsiveness and transparency regarding project updates and availability.
- Skills: Hands-on experience with CapCut/Premiere and Canva/Adobe Suite.
