About the role
Part-Time Social Media & Content Creator (Restaurant & Event Venue)
**Location:** Bayonne, NJ (Hybrid)
Mona Lisa Pizzeria & Banquet Hall is looking for a creative and reliable Social Media & Content Creator to help grow our online presence. We're looking for someone who can visit our restaurant twice a month to capture high-quality photos and videos, then manage and post content throughout the month across our social media platforms.
Responsibilities
- Visit the restaurant 2 times per month to create photo and video content.
- Capture food, drinks, private events, behind-the-scenes moments, staff, and banquet rooms.
- Edit videos into engaging Instagram Reels, TikToks, and Facebook content.
- Post content 3–5 times per week across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Write engaging captions and select relevant hashtags.
- Schedule posts in advance and maintain a consistent posting calendar.
- Monitor comments and messages, responding when appropriate or forwarding customer inquiries to management.
- Stay up to date with social media trends and suggest new content ideas.
- Help promote specials, catering, private events, holidays, and seasonal promotions.
Qualifications
- Experience creating content for restaurants, hospitality, or local businesses is preferred.
- Strong photography and videography skills using a smartphone or camera.
- Experience editing videos using apps such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Express, or similar.
- Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Creative, organized, and dependable.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Schedule
- One-Two on-site visits per month (approximately 2 hours each visit).
- Remote work throughout the month to edit, schedule, and publish content.
Compensation
Budget: Up to $500 per month, based on experience and portfolio.
