Software Developer Intern at Asymptote Capital

Overview We are seeking a Software Developer Intern to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of software applications and internal systems. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical software engineering experience while working alongside experienced developers on real-world projects.

Responsibilities Write, test, and maintain clean, reliable, and efficient code. Develop and improve software applications and internal tools. Debug software issues and troubleshoot technical problems.

Assist with implementing new features and improving existing functionality. Participate in code reviews, testing, and software development processes. Collaborate with engineers and team members to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Document technical work and contribute to engineering projects.

Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C++, or C#. Understanding of fundamental data structures and algorithms.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work effectively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with Git/GitHub and software development workflows. Familiarity with web development, APIs, databases, or cloud services.

Experience with frameworks such as React, Node.js, Django, FastAPI, or similar technologies. Previous software development internship, coursework, or personal projects.
