Software Engineer Intern

About the Role

A 12-week software engineering internship involving feature development, software testing, and continuous production deployment. Interns own projects end-to-end, collaborate across engineering and business teams, and receive mentorship while gaining experience with product development and reliable, real-time software systems.

Role and Responsibilities

Our Software Engineers work on small, collaborative teams to help drive our company forward. Our interns are responsible for projects that are deployed continuously into production over the course of their internship. Your work will include everything from developing features to testing software and you’ll gain a significant understanding of both the product and the business.

Required Skills and Experience

• Be enrolled in a B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
• Deep understanding of C.S. fundamentals
• Strong programming skills with JavaScript, Golang or TypeScript
• Passionate about building highly reliable software
• Firm grasp of algorithms and data structures

Preferred skill and experience

• Understanding of core C.S. fundamentals, in particular operating systems, distributed systems, concurrency, multithreading, and server architectures
