About the role
**Position** Software Engineering Intern (Backend Focus)
**Duration** 5 months, with potential extension
**Compensation** $22 - $32 per hour
**What You'll Do** - Build and maintain the backend systems and services that connect data, workflows, and applications. - Design and refine how data is structured, stored, and accessed within databases. - Support updates and improvements to existing backend systems and data models. - Experiment with AI-powered tools or APIs to enhance automations and streamline workflows - Work closely with CRM operations specialists to understand needs and build solutions.
**What We're Looking For** - Comfortable writing code and interested in how backend systems enable real functionality and efficient operations. - Curious about how systems, services, and data connect behind the scenes. - Thoughtful about turning complex problems into clear, maintainable solutions.
**Nice to Haves** - Familiarity with databases and basic query languages such as SQL. - Understanding of how APIs connect different systems and share data. - Understanding of cloud or serverless environments and how they're used to run backend code. - Familiarity with version control (Git or similar).
