What you'll do
- Work on projects that impact the business and contribute to Transcarent's mission of better health and care.
- Gain exposure to how the Engineering Team operates, working with other Engineers across multiple teams and with Product Management.
- Be exposed to experienced colleagues from all backgrounds.
- Have a formal mentor on your team guiding you throughout your internship period.
What we're looking for
- Is a self‑starter and is skilled in identifying issues and developing solutions.
- Has a passion for healthcare and is inquisitive about the various ways we can improve the delivery of health and care.
- Is able to dedicate 40 hours a week for a duration of 12 weeks.
- Has a solid understanding of full‑stack web development using open‑source and cloud technologies.
- Has experience with modern programming languages, such as Java, Type Script, and JavaScript.
- Has the ability to marry business APIs with UX designs to build performant UI using React, Node, etc.
About Our Internship Program
We offer a hands‑on internship experience designed to give you real‑world exposure and meaningful work from day one. Our summer program runs May 26 – August 14, giving you a structured, full‑season experience alongside talented teams across the business. We're looking for curious, driven individuals who are eager to learn, contribute, and grow.
Program Details
- Duration: May 26 – August 14
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (role dependent)
- Benefits: Internship roles are not eligible for full‑time employee benefits.
- Work Authorization: Candidates must be independently authorized to work in the U.S. — we are unable to provide sponsorship or work authorization for this position.
