Software Engineering Intern (Frontend Focus)
Duration: 5 months, with potential extension
Compensation: $20-$28 per hour
What You'll Do
- Build reusable, responsive web components from mockups or designs.
- Refine details like motion, spacing, and accessibility for a polished experience.
- Use Al tools or APIs to enhance automation and interactivity.
- Collaborate with engineers and marketers to integrate real data and optimize performance.
What We're Looking For
- Comfortable writing code for the web and interested in how design choices shape what users experience.
- Curious about how interfaces pull in and display dynamic data and content.
- Attentive to small details that make interfaces feel polished and complete.
Nice to Haves
- Familiarity with templating or component-based languages (for example Jinja, Handlebars, or similar).
- Understanding of how frontend components or templates become reusable elements within a CMS.
- Understanding of how the frontend connects to APls or dynamic data sources.
- Awareness of accessibility and responsive design fundamentals.
- Familiarity with version control (Git or similar).
