Software Intern
Drōv Technologies | Oklahoma City, OK | Full-Time Internship | Onsite
Drōv Technologies is an IoT company building cutting-edge systems for the transportation industry — think Semi Trucks, Trailers, and Tankers. We're looking for a curious, self-driven, detail-oriented Software Intern to join our team and get hands-on experience in a real-world product environment. You'll be embedded in our engineering team that spans across - Firmware, Software, Embedded systems, and Mobile apps.
What You'll Do
- Contribute on all domains of Software Engineering as per priority
- Work with development and testing teams to understand existing code/features, debug, build new systems and write smaller programs/scripts to expedite execution.
- Write and execute manual and automated test cases across multiple engineering domains.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to understand requirements and surface risks early.
- Participate in field testing and system performance monitoring
- Document RCA, designs, test plans, test cases, results, and bug reports
- Work with the customer support team to understand field issues, investigate, reproduce and derive action items that could be taken up in upcoming sprints.
What We're Looking For
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in an Engineering field or a related field
- Any level of development or testing experience welcome — coursework, personal projects, or 1–2 years of professional experience all count
- Exposure to or curiosity about IoT systems and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with any programming language (Python, C, C++, or Javascript preferred)
- Bonus: experience with Selenium, Playwright, JIRA, TestRail, AWS, or Agile/Scrum practices
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Curiosity and attitude to learn and upgrade one's skills everyday
