About the role

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist, provides evaluation and treatment for communication disorders.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provides assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders for both adult and pediatric populations.
  • Administers diagnostic tests and implements appropriate treatments.
  • Advises physicians and patients of test results.
  • Trains for competency on performing videofluroscopic swallow studies.

Experience

Basic Qualifications: - N/A (This is a 9-12 month internship program).

Education

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology required by date of hire.

License, Certification, Registration

  • Speech-Language Pathology Required Professional Experience License - Temporary (California) required at hire
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire
  • Basic Life Support required at hire

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

Pay Range
