Sport Staff/Officiator - Student Organizations

To provide sport staff/officiator services for student organization-sponsored events.

• Officiating intramural sporting events, club sporting events, or other sporting events hosted by BGSU
• Technical/operational support for sporting events, such as operating a scoreboard or setup/teardown of sporting equipment

• As determined by the hiring student organization
• Employee may provide equipment, but may not be required to purchase equipment for use at a student organization event.
• Job requirements determined by the hiring student organization must not violate any federal, state, or local laws.
• Job requirements determined by the hiring student organization must not violate any BGSU policy or the Code of Student Conduct.
• Employees must complete onboarding and be authorized to work by Student Employment Services prior to performing any service for student organizations.

• This role accepts applications throughout the year, however hiring is conducted as needed by various student organizations.
• This is a commission pay role, pay varies based on the event.
