Role Description
The Sports Intern (Fall Semester) role is a part-time, on-site position located in Irvine, CA. The intern will support day-to-day operations related to memorabilia sales, event preparation, and customer engagement. Responsibilities may include assisting with event logistics, organizing and displaying inventory, interacting with customers and guests, and helping maintain a professional and welcoming environment at meet-and-greet events. The intern may also contribute to basic sales activities and communication efforts, such as answering inquiries and providing information about products and events. This role offers exposure to the sports memorabilia industry and hands-on experience working with sports fans, athletes, and celebrities.
Qualifications
- Ability to demonstrate strong Communication skills for interacting with customers, athletes, and team members.
- Interest or experience in Sports Coaching and Coaching, especially in team or youth sports environments.
- Knowledge or passion for Football and other major sports to support events and engage with fans.
- Ability to apply basic Sales skills in a retail or event-based setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling inventory and event logistics.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work part-time hours during the Fall Semester, including evenings or weekends as needed.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and collaborating with a small team.
- Current enrollment in a college or university program in sports management, business, communications, or a related field is preferred.
