Description

Students will work at assigned stations in the Lottie Dining Hall to produce and serve menu items in timely and attractive manner.

Weekend shifts may be required.

$11.00/hour & a free meal w/every shift

Primary Duties

1. Provide Dining and Catering services to our guests. 2. Present and serve menu items in a timely and attractive manner. 3. Interact with customers and other team members with a friendly and welcoming attitude. 4. Keep all stations/areas stocked and clean. 5. Aid coworkers at other stations as much as possible if your station/area is slow. 6. Stay occupied by stocking, cleaning, or prepping in the kitchen. 7. Maintain consistent & reliable attendance.

Secondary Duties

1. Clean equipment and facilities as directed. 2. Other duties as assigned.

Experience Required

Food Service or Catering background is helpful.

Skills, Characteristics Required

Positive attitude, self-motivated, flexible and able to take direction, ability to work well with people, able to work independently of supervision and have excellent customer service and communication skills

Special Working Conditions

Must be able to lift 30 lbs using proper lifting technique.

Must be able to work day, evening and weekends.

Must be able to perform all essential job functions, which require prolonged standing, pushing, pulling, lifting and walking on hard surfaces.

Dress Code Requirements

Clean and neat appearance at all times.

Uniform: jeans, black shirt, closed toe shoes with socks, and hat with nametag on it.

If your hair is long enough to touch your shoulders, it must be tied back.

If your ears are pierced, you may wear only studs.

No sweatpants, shorts, capris, open toe or heeled shoes (e.g. sandals, flip flops, or ballet flats), hoops/dangling earrings, facial piercing, necklaces, bracelets, or other jewelry.
