Job Description Req#: 42919 The student must have completed one full year of college and have a minimum SHSU GPA of 2.8 or higher. Previous relevant job experience is preferred, and the candidate must possess strong communication and people skills. The student will: Maintain the front desk and greet visitors.
Perform clerical tasks (filing, copying, developing basic Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, etc.) as required by the Associate Deans and Administrative Associate. Answer the main telephone, transfer calls, and take accurate messages. Keep an appointment calendar when required.
Assist with documents, mail, email, special projects, and collect and analyze data.
