Title Student Employee - Dept of Art - Graphic Design Lab Assistant (Work Study Available) Employee Class Student Employee College Work Study Position Yes Department Dept of Art Division Division of Academic Affairs Hours per week 20 Hiring Rate $8.00 Preferred Student Classification Must be a Graphic Design Major who has passed the Graphic Design Review Nature & Purpose of Position The Department of Art is seeking applications for the position of Graphic Design Lab Assistant to begin working in the Fall 2026 semester.

Responsibilities

may include but are not limited to: Maintaining Graphic Design lab areas, including reorganizing, cleaning, planning, and setup as needed Posting lab hours in clearly visible locations and updating as needed Performing basic troubleshooting on Mac computers, including force quitting applications and force restarting computers if necessary Assisting students with technical problems Maintaining proficiency with software such as the Adobe Creative Suite and iMovie Maintaining a high degree of knowledge in regard to lab printing equipment by studying resources/manuals for all printers Ensuring students follow established lab rules Reporting any concerns to the Graphic Design faculty coordinator immediately Other

Requirements
