Student Equipment Manager

Job Summary/Basic Function

Students will assist the head equipment manager with all job duties. This includes, -setting up/taking down the practice field equipment -setting up/taking down the game day locker room -helping coaches with drills during practice -laundry after practice -issuing gear to student athletes -inventorying new shipments -loading/unloading the equipment trailer for away games

Required Qualifications

This position is a work study or 50/50 position. (Student must be enrolled full-time and have at least a 2.0 GPA in order to qualify.)

Light work. Exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Use of arm and/or leg controls exerting forces greater than that for sedentary work. , Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.

The worker is subject to outside environmental changes. No effective protection from the weather. , The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside. , The worker is subject to extreme cold. Temperatures typically below 32 for periods of more than one hour.
