Position: Student Intern - Greater Los Angeles (Pepperdine Greek) Your
Role Here's what you will be doing: Participate and engage fully with the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision and direction Contribute to accomplishing the campus ministry team's plans for spiritual growth and transformation Teach students to love, study, and apply Scripture to their lives Promote the Mission on campus by seeking opportunities to proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ Learn to guide chapters or assigned segments in strategic thinking regarding witness to the university Model and assist students and faculty in growing in their love for God's people of every ethnicity and culture Encourage a prayerful lifestyle in students, especially those not yet following Jesus as Lord and Savior Engage positively with supervision and training from staff ministry trainer and/or director Assist with reporting as assigned Serve as an ambassador of Inter Varsity to ministry partners and churches through prayer and discussion of ministry efforts Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
About You The company is looking for: A follower of Jesus Christ Someone who annually affirms Inter Varsity's Statement of Agreement A developing passion for evangelism Demonstrated campus ministry leadership qualities such as initiative, self‑awareness, cultural awareness, communication, professionalism, eagerness to learn, cross‑cultural competence, teamwork, and relational maturity Currently enrolled in a four-year or community college; second year and community college students may intern at two-year/community colleges; third year and higher may work at four-year or community colleges
Compensation & Benefits
