Student Intern

Neal will be working as an intern in the Weeks' lab during the fall semester. During his time in the lab he will be primarily supervised by Weeks lab postdoctoral fellow Dr. Jiaqi Li.

The primary project that he will be assisting with is the clonal hematopoiesis chemotherapy and radiation effects study (CH CARE STUDY). He will assist with literature review, database annotation, data analysis, data displays, and identifying primary samples in the biorepository for sample sequencing. He will further be responsible for presenting 1 journal club presentation (45 minutes) on a published paper of his choosing related to the CH CARE Study project.

The presentation will be for a Weeks lab meeting session towards the end of his time in the laboratory. He will have 1:1 meeting with Dr. Weeks monthly during his time in the lab and will have project-specific meetings with Dr.

Pay Transparency Statement The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and qualifications. For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). $31,200.00 - $41,200.00
