Student Worker - Kinesiology Department

Responsibilities

• Create laboratory equipment cleaning and maintenance schedule; clean and maintain lab equipment according to schedule
• Create calibration procedure booklet and calibration schedule; perform calibrations on laboratory equipment according to calibration schedule
• Maintain laboratory inventory
• Assure adherence to COVID-19 related policies
• Monitor open laboratory times
• Prepare laboratory equipment for courses as needed
• Assist with fitness assessments as needed
• Assist with training of students and faculty on equipment
• Become trained on new laboratory equipment and assist with the training of others on the equipment
• Assist faculty on other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Exercise Science or Athletic Training major preferred; other majors welcome but must demonstrate an interest in human performance.
• Strong academic standing
• Sophomore or higher class standing
