Summer 2027 Intern- R&D Beauty and Personal Care

Job Title: Summer 2027 Intern- R&D Beauty and Personal Care Summary: As a part of a product development team, the candidate will focus on demonstrating consumer benefits of Momentive’s technologies in personal care formulations. The candidate will be instrumental in a laboratory set-up to develop personal care formulations, testing raw material and formulations for physical characterization and performance attributes. The candidate will have an opportunity to interact with other business functions including marketing and analytical teams.

Responsibilities Include: Prepare and formulate naturally derived materials at laboratory scale following established protocols. Conduct physical and chemical characterization of materials using analytical and instrumental techniques. Evaluate the performance of developed materials in personal care formulations.

Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data to generate insights and support project objectives. Present findings and recommendations through written summaries and team discussions. Adhere to laboratory safety standards and comply with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications: The following are *required* for the role Working knowledge of general chemistry with the ability to carry out lab experiments. Working knowledge of standard personal computer applications (word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, etc.) Program Minimum Qualifications: The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship. The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August.
