Job Overview As an Engineering Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting engineering projects, technical analysis, operations, and problem-solving. Depending on your team and assignment, you may work across areas such as electrical, mechanical, civil, environmental, industrial, nuclear, renewable energy, or other engineering disciplines. Throughout the internship, you'll have opportunities to strengthen your technical and analytical skills, learn from experienced professionals, collaborate across disciplines, and better understand how engineering supports safe, reliable, efficient, and innovative energy solutions.

Duties

& Responsibilities Assists Engineering teams with assigned projects, technical analyses, and engineering activities Analyzes technical, operational, and performance data to identify trends and opportunities Supports development, evaluation, testing, and implementation of engineering solutions Assists with engineering calculations, models, drawings, specifications, reports, or documentation Participates in project planning, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives Works with engineers, technicians, operations teams, and cross-functional business partners Helps evaluate equipment, systems, processes, or technologies Identifies opportunities to improve safety, reliability, efficiency, quality, or performance Contributes to meaningful projects that address real business and technical challenges Develops technical, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills through hands-on experience Presents project work, findings, and recommendations to team members and leadership Takes ownership of assigned work, asks thoughtful questions, and actively seeks opportunities to learn and contribute Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related technical field Maintain active enrollment in a bachelor's degree or higher degree program Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher Ability to complete a minimum 10-week internship, beginning no later than June 1 Preferred
