Responsibilities
- Assist with project scheduling activities to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks and deliverables.
- Support geotechnical, civil, mechanical, and process engineering teams in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Contribute to reservoir modeling, pipeline design, and system layout using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools.
- Participate in process simulation analyses to optimize oil & gas extraction processes and evaluate operational efficiencies.
- Conduct economic evaluations and cost management assessments for various projects to support decision-making processes.
- Aid in technical writing efforts for reports, project documentation, and compliance standards aligned with ASME codes & standards.
- Collaborate across departments on cross-functional communication initiatives related to drilling engineering, system design, and project engineering tasks.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, industrial engineering or related fields.
- Demonstrated knowledge of petroleum engineering practices, drilling engineering principles, and energy sector operations.
- Familiarity with project scheduling tools and software such as CAD, GIS, process simulation software, or reservoir modeling platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in engineering data analysis and simulation analysis techniques.
- Basic understanding of geotechnical engineering principles, pipeline systems, and system design concepts within the oil & gas industry.
- Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration and technical reporting.
- Prior experience working in the energy & utilities sector is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in team environments while demonstrating leadership potential.
