Position Summary

Georgica Property Management is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic College Summer Intern to support our property management and affordable housing operations team. This internship provides students and recent graduates with hands-on experience in residential property management, customer service, affordable housing programs, leasing operations, and compliance administration. The Summer Intern will gain exposure to day-to-day property operations while developing professional skills and industry knowledge in a fast-paced real estate environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist property management staff with daily administrative tasks and resident services.
  • Support leasing activities, including preparing application packets and organizing resident files.
  • Assist with resident communication, outreach programs, and community events.
  • Help maintain accurate records and documentation in property management systems.
  • Support affordable housing compliance staff with file organization and document tracking.
  • Conduct data entry and assist with report preparation.
  • Participate in property inspections and site visits as assigned.
  • Observe and learn about leasing, maintenance coordination, rent collection, and resident relations.
  • Assist with special projects related to operations, compliance, and resident engagement.
  • Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college, university, or vocational program. Preferred majors include:

  • Business Administration
  • Real Estate
  • Public Administration
  • Finance
  • Accounting
  • Urban Planning
  • Communications
  • Related fields

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong interest in real estate, property management, or affordable housing.
