About the role
- Internship Start Date/Season: Summer 2026 - Internship Duration: 2-3 months - Time/Days Required: Approximately 10-15 hours per week (flexible schedule) - Workplace Requirements: Remote or hybrid options available Responsibilities may include: - Editing documentary footage, trailers, teasers, and promotional videos - Assisting with assembly edits, rough cuts, and fine cuts - Organizing and managing media, project files, and footage archives - Syncing audio, organizing interviews, and preparing timelines - Creating social media edits, reels, and short-form promotional content - Incorporating music, graphics, titles, and basic color correction - Assisting with film festival deliverables and promotional materials - Collaborating on creative storytelling and pacing - Supporting post-production workflows from ingest through final delivery Ideal Candidates: - Students pursuing filmmaking, post-production, editing, cinematography, media production, or related fields are encouraged to apply. Applicants should have prior editing experience and be proficient with: - DaVinci Resolve - Adobe Premiere Pro - Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects is a plus - Experience organizing media and managing editing workflows - An understanding of storytelling, pacing, continuity, and visual composition Candidates should be creative, organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while collaborating on creative projects.
