What You’ll Do As a Quality Engineering Intern Quality Engineering – As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will be an integral part of our efforts to design, develop, and uphold rigorous quality standards for Boeing’s products and manufacturing processes.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams spanning engineering, production, and supply chain to help build and sustain a robust quality conformance system that ensures safe, reliable, and defect-free aerospace products. This role will give you hands-on experience in quality risk assessment, data analysis, quality management system implementation, and continuous improvement —all critical aspects of delivering excellence in aerospace manufacturing. Collaborate across production, and engineering teams to support product quality assurance throughout design, manufacturing, and production systems.

Support implementing quality principles, processes, and metrics to reduce defects and drive customer satisfaction. Support quality readiness assessments and product maturity validation through data analysis and risk mitigation planning. Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives including root cause analysis, corrective/preventive action, and statistical process control.

Help develop, review, and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) documentation in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Provide assistance in design risk analysis (DFMEA), verification planning, and quality inspections. Supplier Quality and Performance Management – As a Supplier Quality Intern, you will play a critical role in partnering with our suppliers to ensure that the components and materials we receive meet Boeing’s high standards for quality and compliance.
