Halloween Explosion
Location: Plainview, NY
Compensation: $17/hour
Schedule: 2 days per week, 4–6 hours per day (flexible scheduling)
Duration: Approximately 2 weeks
About Us
Halloween Explosion is a growing online retail business specializing in seasonal merchandise and decorations. We're looking for a motivated high school senior, college student, or recent graduate to join us this summer for a short-term paid internship. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in inventory management, retail operations, e-commerce, and small business entrepreneurship while earning competitive hourly pay.
Responsibilities
- Organize and categorize seasonal inventory and Halloween merchandise
- Sort products and prepare inventory for storage and future sales seasons
- Label and organize inventory systems
- Assist with product handling, packing, and operational organization
- Support day-to-day business operations and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school senior, college student, or recent graduate
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently and efficiently
- Strong communication skills and positive attitude
- Interest in business, entrepreneurship, marketing, retail, or e-commerce is a plus
