Touring Content Creator Intern (Photo / Video)

Independent Contractor | U.S. Tour | October 25 – December 15, 2026

Dead Things is seeking an ambitious and motivated Content Creator Intern to join us on an upcoming U.S. tour. This opportunity is ideal for an up-and-coming photographer, videographer, editor, or social media creator looking to build a portfolio, gain real-world touring experience, and develop relationships within the music industry. You'll travel with the band on their bus, capture content every day, create social media assets, and have the opportunity to earn income by offering your services to other bands on the tour and local opening acts.

Tour Dates

October 25, 2026 – December 15, 2026

Approximately 36 performances throughout the United States.

Location Requirements

Applicants based in the Los Angeles, CA area are strongly preferred. Applicants outside of Los Angeles are welcome to apply; however, they will be responsible for arranging and covering their own transportation to and from the tour start and end locations. Once on tour, transportation will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Capture photo and video content throughout the tour
  • Shoot live performances
  • Capture behind-the-scenes footage
  • Create social media content
  • Deliver content in a timely manner
  • Organize and back up media files
  • Assist with content planning
  • Support promotional efforts when requested
  • Help document the tour experience

Compensation

There is no guaranteed compensation from Dead Things. All of your income will be based on you selling your services to other artists we cross paths with. In addition to gaining experience, the selected candidate may earn income through:

Photography & Video Services

The Content Creator will have the opportunity to offer and sell to other:

  • Live performance photography
  • Promotional photography
  • Social media content packages
  • Video recap packages
  • Live performance video
  • Behind-the-scenes content

to:

  • Other bands on the tour
  • Local opening acts
  • Supporting artists
  • Industry contacts encountered during the tour

The Content Creator will retain earnings from approved content services sold to third parties.

Requirements

  • Available October 25 – December 15, 2026
  • Own camera equipment preferred
  • Basic editing experience preferred
  • Positive attitude
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel and live on a tour bus
  • Ability to work well with others in close quarters
  • Touring experience is not required.
